P90x Ab Ripper is a set of exercises that are concentrated on the user’s abdominal
muscles. The set of exercises is an important part of P90x home based fitness program
designed by Tony Horton, the fitness guru.
P90x ab ripper is a vigorous exercise program to tone up your abdominal muscles. You
will need around twenty minutes for this daily fitness regime. It is really demanding.
You need to sweat out hard. As the name suggests, the program is specially designed to
rip the extra fat from your abdominal area. The exercises consist of eleven varieties of
movements. They are called In & Out, Seated Bicycle, Seated Crunchy Frog, Crossed
Leg/Wide Leg Sit-ups, Fifer Scissor, Hip Rock ‘N Raise, Pulse Up, Roll Up/V up
Combo, Oblique V up, Leg Climb and Mason/Kayak Twist.
What can one understand by this jargon? Let us find the essence of each of the above one
by one. In & Out as per P90x Ab ripper is using your butt to pivot kicking movements
of your legs out, and bending your upper body towards the floor. In Seated Bicycle the
movements of peddling a bicycle are mimicked. These movements give your abdominal
muscles and hip muscles good exercise. Seated Crunchy Frog in P90x Ab ripper is a bit
difficult. The position is like In & Out and you have to wrap arms around your knees
momentarily. Wide Leg Sit ups are some complicated movements that you do laying
down. You use your legs and arms to do intricate sit ups.
Fifer Scissor resembles the usual scissor exercises one does in gyms. The next movement
is Hip Roc ‘N Rise involves contracting your abdominal muscles to bring up your body
while laying down with your knees spread out and heels touching each other. The next
exercise in P90x ab ripper is Pulse up. It is a basic hip raising kind of movement. You try
to stretch your heels towards the ceiling as high as possible. The movements of Roll up/

is climbing your upper body on your leg that is kept some 45 degrees off the ground. The
last one the Mason Twist is rotating rapidly using your butt as a pivot point.
